“We were pleasantly surprised by the impact cycling has had on company life. A genuine collective movement built up little by little, bringing many people together around it.”
The contractual relationship around equipment is exclusively between the employee and BeeToGreen.
The company makes the scheme available (FMD, communication, Marketplace access), but is not a party to the purchase or rental contract entered into by the employee.
In the case of a purchase, there is no specific issue related to the employee's departure. The bike belongs to them outright, and the end of their employment contract has no impact on the ownership of their equipment or on the company.
No. Under a long-term rental agreement, the bike remains the property of the financier/leaser for the entire duration of the contract, even if the employee has paid all scheduled instalments.
The employee has a right of use governed by the contract, but does not own the bike unless the conditions for a potential buyout have been met.
If the employee leaves the company mid-contract, BeeToGreen takes responsibility for ensuring proper follow-up with the employee.
The employee remains liable for the instalments set out in the contract, including after their departure, unless an early termination arrangement is put in place.
Yes. Options exist to terminate contracts ahead of schedule (bike return, buyout, case-by-case solutions depending on the contractual framework).
BeeToGreen supports the employee in exploring these options and navigating the associated steps, in order to find the most suitable solution for their situation.
No. The company is not contractually bound by the employee's LLD and does not bear the risk associated with their individual contract.
BeeToGreen manages the relationship with the employee directly, ensuring that an employee's departure has no operational or financial impact on the company.
